Arusha National Park Day Trip

Arusha National Park is a beautiful and diverse wildlife destination located between Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro, just a short drive from Arusha town. The park is known for its scenic landscapes, including lush montane forest, open savannah, Ngurdoto Crater, and the Momella Lakes, which attract flamingos and other water birds. Wildlife commonly seen includes giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, colobus monkeys, and a wide variety of bird species, making it an excellent choice for a relaxed and scenic day safari.

Itinerary

After breakfast, depart from Moshi or Arusha with your professional safari guide and drive to Arusha National Park. Enjoy a morning game drive through forest and grassland areas while spotting wildlife and enjoying views of Mount Meru. Continue to the Momella Lakes for bird watching and scenic photography, followed by a picnic lunch inside the park. In the afternoon, proceed with further game viewing before returning to Moshi or Arusha in the late afternoon or early evening.
